The artist is in.
Now that I have my studio all set up again, I try to spend as much time in it as possible. It’s difficult, but I do what I can. I have a lot of different projects I’m working on at any given time. So it’s hard making it into the studio on a regular basis. The good news is that many of the other projects are still creative based, so I don’t feel as bad about missing studio time. Plus, many of my ideas come to me when I’m out and about. The studio is just one of the places available for execution of these ideas.
But when I’m there, and don’t have anything else major to work on, I try to make some drawings and explore ideas in my head. For now, I am content doing studies in preparation for painting.
